Genesis Turning Them On Again: New Live Tour!

Genesis have announced the dates for the North American leg of their first tour in 15 years, beginning at the BMO Field in Toronto, on September 7th. The band will perform in 13 cities across the American continent, in what is one of the most anticipated tours of the year.

"Genesis is absolutely one of the world's most exciting bands of all time," said tour promoter Michael Cohl, as the band made their announcement in New York City. "They have always been an amazing concert experience and I'm thrilled that fans will be able to see them perform again live for the first time in 15 years."

Expectations for some world-class shows have been running high, since the band revealed in November 2006 they would take the 'Turn It On Again' Tour across Europe in the summer of 2007, before heading to North America.

New Genesis rumours indicate that their North American tour, Turn It On Again, will take place in September and October 2007, with 20 to 25 shows being included. There are three tentative dates:

September 7 in Toronto, Canada
September 9 in Montreal, Canada
October ? in Los Angeles, USA

Firth of Fifth has always been my personal favorite, but I can understand why Supper's Ready won. It's a great song. Here's hoping that the upcoming tour will feature these and many more of our favorites!

It's been 15 years, but the true core of Genesis is back with a new tour.

"Turn it On Again - The Tour" featuring Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks will go play throughout Europe with concerts in Denmark, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Germany, France, Holland, the United Kingdom and Italy in the summer of 2007.

Phil Collins has also announced that there will be a United States tour in 2007, but the details have not yet been released. Tickets for the European shows go on sale this November and should be snapped up by fans almost immediately. Genesis is huge in Europe, particularly Germany, which features the band's most active fan group.
